Key Stage 1

Our topic for this term is ‘The Great Fire of London' and we will compare present day London with what London looked like in 1666, sort a group of homes through the different ages and find out about Samuel Pepys. We will also find out about what happened during the Great Fire and create a timeline detailing the different events. We will also consider how things changed in London after that event.

Key Stage 2

Year 3 and 4

Our topic for the Autumn Term is the Indus Valley and we will learn when it existed, how did city planning improve settlements, the invention of sanitation systems, why the Indus people were so successful at trading and techologies that were invented at this time. 

Year 5 and 6

Our topic for the Autumn Term is Prehistoric Britain and we will find out about what evidence there is of prehistoric people, how did early humans live in the Mesolithic era, what changes happened in the Neolithic era and developments in the Bronze and Iron Ages.
