Our school council meets monthly and we have members from each year group. Our members are voted in democratically by our peers. The meeting always begins by opening up the suggestion box and discussing the content. We then agree any actions we need to take. Our meetings are always minuted.

Projects we have carried out include: improving our mathematical equipment, tidying and organising our reading areas within class and our sports equipment, agreeing areas of responsibility within school and discussing ways to improve lunchtimes.

We have also organised ‘fund raising’ days including ‘Children in Need’ and  our November 2023 ‘Children in Need’ event raised £64.00.

We meet annually with our Chair of Governors, Mr John Taylor where he asks us questions about life in school and how things could be even better.
