Our African drumming sessions for children in the EYFS and Key Stage 1 with Zo Zo will take place throughout the school year.
Our Infants will also be experimenting with percussion instruments and will be creating short pieces to perform to the rest of the class.
Key Stage 2
Children in years 3,4,5 and 6 learn to play the ukulele in lessons provided by provided by Cumbria Music Service.
Children in Year 3,4,5 and 6 will also be having drumming tuition led by Andy Kelly from Stix Percussion.
We have all enjoyed learning new songs in our whole school singing sessions. We really like listening to different composers and identifying instruments within songs.
