Key Stage 1
Our African drumming sessions for children in the EYFS and Key Stage 1 with Zo Zo will take place during the Autumn Term.
Our Infants will also be experimenting with percussion instruments and will be creating short pieces to perform to the rest of the class.
Key Stage 2
Year 5 and 6 children will begin their guitar tuition sessions for this year and Year 3 and 4 are will be having ukulele tuition later in the term provided by Cumbria Music Service.
Children in Year 3,4,5 and 6 are also having drumming tuition led by Andy Kelly from Stix Percussion.
We have all enjoyed learning new songs in our whole school singing sessions especially our new school song ‘Together.’ We really like listening to different composers and identifying instruments within songs.
