At the end of the term we held our annual Easter themed morning. Our morning began with a virtual assembly by the Niscu puppet team asking ‘What Easter means for us.’ Our activities included creating silhouette crosses, decorating boiled eggs, making an Easter themed wreath, decorating an Easter cup cake, designing an Easter bonnet and taking part in water coloured Easter Art. We also said an Easter prayer for our families and hung a ribbon on our prayer tree in our playground. A big thank you to Mrs Stephenson and Mrs Bowe for organising our morning, we all really enjoyed it.
As the weather has been improving we have been having some of our Maths and English lessons outside, which has been fun. We have also been on local nature walks to look for signs of Spring. Our Junior children took part enthusiastically with the Easter Sports challenge, competing virtually against other schools. We look forward to the time when we can meet up again with the children from our nearby schools.
