Our school had an Ofsted inspection on 24th January 2017. The inspector confirmed our school continues to be ‘good’.
Comments from the inspection include:
- ‘School leaders are ambitious for pupil’s academic success’.
- ‘Current pupils make good progress’.
- ‘Pupils like coming to school and say that it is a safe place because the teachers look after them’.
- ‘The culture of safeguarding in the school is strong and is based on trust and good relationships between adults and pupils’.
- ‘Teaching is effective, as evidenced by the good progress current pupils are making’.
- ‘Activities promote pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development well’.
Our school had a SIAMS (Church inspection) on 9th February. All areas within this inspection were confirmed as ‘good’.
Comments from the inspection include:
- ‘Pupils make good, sometimes rapid progress from their starting points. Standards of attainment are consistently good.’
- ‘All children are valued as special to God and their unique skills and abilities are recognised.’
- ‘The school works hard to support the needs of all pupils so that all can flourish and achieve.’
- ‘Experiential outdoor learning provided by the forest school programme excites and inspires all children. They benefit from regular experiences which promote their self expression, confidence and creativity. As a result pupils’ spiritual and personal development is good.’
